Mahj Obsessed Sponsors Mahjong Tournament Fundraiser

This year, Mahj Obsessed had the honor of serving as the inaugural sponsor of the newly added mahjong tournament at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta Fifth Third Harry Maziar Classic, one of Atlanta’s largest and most meaningful annual community fundraising events.

The Harry Maziar Classic brings together hundreds of participants each year in support of scholarships and programs that help make the MJCCA accessible to individuals and families throughout the community.

When we heard mahjong was being added to the event for the very first time, we immediately knew we wanted to be part of it.

Mahjong has always been about more than the game itself. It creates connection, conversation, competition, and a community people genuinely want to be part of. Seeing that energy show up at an event with such an important mission made the day even more meaningful.

The Mahj Obsessed raffle, featuring Mahj Obsessed gift cards and prizes, was a huge hit.  We loved seeing so many players excited to participate in the mahjong tournament, and even got to play a few games too!

Mostly, we just loved being there.
